DELAYED ONSET MUSCLE SORENESS (DOMS)

This is soreness felt 48-72 hours after strenuous activity. 

A massage prior DOMS symptoms will help flush out waste products such as lactic acid before the symptoms occur.

A massage whilst having DOMS symptoms will help reduce tightness, relieve pain and restore movement and flexibility.
